PROLOGUE
"A young girl living in a house where two grown man lives is not right; I don't want anyone to question her and if her reputation is ruined because of that I will not forgive myself as I treat her no different than my daughter. I also don't want her to feel that out of pity we are asking her to live with us which you know is not true."

"Mother get to the point. What do you want from me?"
She said something that shocked Sake, "Marry her."
"What?"
As Sake protested against his mother sudden request. "Mother, she is too young and me marrying her is impossible. Why don't you ask Watit to marry her."
"You know your brother well, he doesn't believe in commitment. Also, he is not stable enough to take care of May? He just thinks about having fun everyday. After what May has been through in the last few weeks, she needs a shoulder to lean on and I know you can provide her with that."
"But Mother..."
"NO Sake, you will marry her. I will talk with her uncle and fix the marriage date and see to it that it happens soon so get yourself ready for it."
As Sake knew marriage is not something one can do alone; other party's acceptance is important as well so he dared to question his mother actions.
"Mother, even if I agree to marry her, will she agree to marry me?"
After a moment his mother answered,
"Her uncle said that he will talk with her today and convince her to marry you."

"May, I know that your parents just died and this is not the right time but I don't want you to live alone and I will not leave until I know you have someone to turn to in troubles. So I have decided to get you married."
"What? Uncle, I don't understand." I am too young and I still need to finish my studies."
"You can still continue your studies after getting married." "But?" "Please can you do this for your uncle." "You know I wouldn't be able to leave Thailand with a peaceful mind."
"But with who? I suppose you have someone in mind."
"Mrs. Jindachote's son. From what I know, you have known him for a long time and I think he can take care of you well."
Just at the thought of marrying into Jindachote family made her skip a heartbeat. Not to let her uncle know about her feelings, she decided to act like she was seriously deciding even though she only had one answer and that was yes. After sometime, she finally said, "I agree to this marriage." She stood up, leaving her uncle sitting alone in the living room as she made her way to her room.

Now that she was alone in her room. She could finally smile and soon  found herself lost in thoughts. As she remembered the moments she shared with Watit, she couldn't help but blush. She knew Watit since elementary school and him being the youngest son of Jindachote gave her plenty of opportunities to visit his house. Before she knew it, it became a second home to her. She have always liked him and the thought of becoming something more she couldn't contain the excitement as she called herself "Mrs. Watit Jindachote" and blushed at the mere mention of the name.

She didn't dare question that it could be the other son of Jindachote who she despised. He always acted cold to her and being in his presence only gave her fear.

The wedding was arranged to happen in a week and soon that day came. She dressed up beautifully and every person who passed by her stopped to comment on her beauty. As she searched around the wedding hall looking for her groom. She felt shamed at the thought of wanting this wedding to finish as soon as possible. As she thought just in few hours she will become Mrs. Watit Jindachote. She couldn't hide her happiness any longer and her cheek raised. 

Finally, the ceremony began and to her horror the person who appeared to sit along her wasn't Watit but Sake Jindachote. Suddenly she felt dizzy and realized her mistake. She didn't know what to do. Who to talk to and tell them she couldn't go forward with this marriage as he is not the one she thought she was marrying. Soon the water pouring ceremony began and before she took notice of what was happening, some guests had already passed by her giving her their blessings. Soon after she was sitting with Sake Jindachote at a table with a government officer and was asked to sign the wedding certificate. She realized that very moment that she was too late in stopping this marriage as it has already been finished and her signature on these paper with seal this unwanted marriage that even if she tried she can't run from anymore.

As people around cheered the couple to sign, she felt defeated and signed the paper without giving it a second thought. She already knew it was all her fault for what had happened and no one was to be blamed except her as she cut the cake, dis-heartened along with her new husband, an unwanted husband.
